Send files via E-Mail, FTP, or U.S. Mail. When transmitting electronically, the preferred compression method is PKZIP (*.zip). MTI Engineering will work directly with the latest release of Pro-Engineer, AutoCad, up to and including Release 14.0, from the following file types:
E-Mail Attachment MTI Engineering prefers that files be sent as an E-Mail attachment. It is the most convenient, easy and efficient method of transmitting data files. Our customers may send their files via E-Mail at any time day or night. MTI Engineering Corporation's Engineering Department receives E-Mail 24 hours a day seven days a week. Engineering Department personnel check their E-Mail every hour between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. E-Mail to: sheetmetal@mtiengineering.com
Files may be uploaded to MTI's FTP site. Prior to uploading, contact MTI Engineering via E-Mail or by telephone (714) 891-4619 to obtain the HOST ADDRESS, USER ID, and PASSWORD. With the data file, include a description (text) file of the same name. The text file must include the senders name and specifics about the data file. Format this file as a text file (*.txt) or an MS-Word file (*.doc). Files must be uploaded into MTI's "/home/mtiguest" directory.
If PKZIP or WinZip is not available, go to one of the following websites to obtain the utility program.
If an FTP Client is not available, go to one of the following websites to obtain
the utility program.
Send either a 3.5" disk or a drawing package. When sending 3.5" disks, indicate "Magnetic Media" on the packaging to prevent mishandling. Our Engineering Department receives U.S. Mail once a day Monday through Friday. All mail is opened and read upon receipt. Mail to:
